At Cheddar & District Funeral Directors, we have a range of fleet vehicles including Jaguar hearses and limousines to provide respectful transport on the day of the service. Traditionally, a hearse will carry the coffin to the funeral service. Family members can then choose to travel with the funeral procession in our modern black limousines, or you can choose your own transport if you wish.
We understand the importance of making a funeral fulfil your needs and wishes, and therefore we give you the option to choose a specific procession route. Families will often choose a route that passes by a favourite or memorable location of the deceased. By choosing a unique route, this will make the service feel more personal. The route can be arranged in the initial planning appointment.
As well as our traditional funeral cars, we can also provide alternative transport options for something more special. You can choose from a horse and carriage, motorcycles with sidecars or classic cars for a bespoke touch. If you have a method of transport that has not been mentioned, then please discuss your requirements with us and we will do the best to accommodate your wishes.
